Sunrise Beach Hôtel (Sunrise Beach Hotel)

We booked the quadruple room for a family of 4. I read the reviews and because I have done some due diligence and managed my expectations, our stay turned out to be very pleasant. I was particularly observing what other guests experienced: 1) the moment we entered the place, i approached the bar and said we were guests checking in. I said hello first and all three manning the resto and bar smiledand greeted us warmly 2) checkin was quick since I filled out the online checkin 3) the room was clean, air conditioned and had the basics of what we needed for our 2 night stay. Some reviews were commenting that it was 2 stars and not 3. Well frankly, I don't care and don't really bother if it was 1 notch higher or not. I feel some reviewers are expecting 5 stars when they only paid for 2 stars. 4) the place is just in front of the beach, nothing beats that 5) we were only a few guests and no one was close to our room so we did not have any issue about thin walls. 6) vibe was laid back and rustic which was perfect. 7) breakfast choices might seem not extensive but in fact we realized that it is just enough and can fill you up. All in all, we are happy to go back and to have discovered this gem.
